Curry basmati rice with vegetables and chickpeas

  • 150 g Orogel Ethnic Vegetable Mix
  • 60 g basmati rice
  • 80 ml water
  • half tablespoon of spicy curry
  • 1 tablespoon of peanuts
  • mint leaves
  • extra virgin olive oil
  • salt
  • 2 tablespoons of chickpeas


  1. Rinse basmati rice and put it into the jar.
  2. Add water, curry and an abundant pinch of salt.
  3. Then add the vegetables, the pre-cooked chickpeas and season with some salt and a drizzle of olive oil.
  4. Put the lid on and microwave for 5 minutes at 600 Watts.
  5. Before serving, add the peanuts and sprinkle some chopped mint leaves on top.
